The weather in Guatemala varies based on geography and altitude but, in general, the climate can be divided into the rainy season from May to October and the dry season from November to April. From December to February the tourist crowds are at their peak and popular tourist destinations are often fully booked. The rains are rarely heavy enough to disrupt travel and Guatemala is at its greenest during this period.
